Man, 29, stabbed during large fight near bar on James Street in Eastwood

Syracuse, N.Y. — A man was injured early Sunday morning when he was stabbed during a fight in Eastwood, police said.
Around 1:53 a.m., officers were called to the 2700 block of James Street for a report of a large fight, according to a news release Sunday from Syracuse police.
The fight was reported outside of Amici’s Gathering Lounge at 2710 James St, according to Sgt. Thomas Blake, a spokesperson for the Syracuse Police Department. About 15 people were involved in the fight, he said.
On scene, officers found a 29-year-old man with a stab wound to his upper torso, police said. The man was stabbed during the fight, they said.
Police said the man was taken to Upstate University Hospital where he is in stable condition.
